We just received permission to operate our new Solar Power system that we purchased with the help of Scott Hazard and Titan Solar. It was a great experience. He even loaned us a generator to use while our installation took place, as we were without power while the work was being done. He clearly outlines options and price levels and even helped interface with the main solar supply company, Titan, when there was a small scheduling confusion. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Scott to you. The Titan Solar panels are freshly installed, but so far they meet my expectations, partly because Titan provided regular progress updates on the process, so you know what to expect and when it will happen. - 4/09/2022

Wanting to explore solar panels for my house I contacted Brightside Solar. The rep arrived early for our appointment and came prepared with measurements and drone views of my roof. The house faces south with no place for panels on the front. The large northern facing roof could easily accommodate the number of panels estimated to make an installation financially worthwhile. I was excited about the prospect as we discussed pricing, plans & placement. Alas it was determined the property has too many trees needing to be trimmed or removed to make solar a viable option. The trees blocking the proposed solar panels provide the only shade for the entire backyard. The rep truthfully noted that the cost of the tree removal coupled with loss of all shade didn’t make financial sense for my house. The bottom line: it cost nothing for the onsite assessment, Brightside Solar responded promptly and with integrity. I wholeheartedly recommend this business! - 3/09/2022

My husband and I entertained the idea of installing solar panels for several years. To be honest, we were a bit confused by the jargon and sticker shock eventually seemed to be our deciding factor. ENTER BrightSide Solar. Scott Hazard is AMAZING. He explained everything to us. There was not elevator pitch. He was honest and non-pressuring. He was there every step of the way, even meeting the crew at our house as we were tied up in meetings. Scott was extremely communicative and set our minds at ease. I can say after having our solar panels installed, it's REALLY nice to see our electric bill go from $200 to $40. TOTALLY worth the investment and not at all as overwhelming as those door to door knockers. Scott is honest and he just wants you to get the best deal possible. I got a whole lot of quotes, and I’m really glad we went with BrightSide Solar. They’re the only notable local solar company. They know all the important stuff about Denton municipal electric, what rebates are available, what permits are needed etc. They handle all of that for you. And they partner with some big name installer teams so the panels themselves and installation team are top notch. But you get a local, personal, accessible project manager.
